#Everything is a remix

1. “Today anybody can remix anything — music, video, photos, whatever — and distribute it globally pretty much instantly.” How does this affect the music industry and our culture?

` This affects the music industry and our culture because it can put others out of business and lack originality. Sometimes it can cause cultural diffusion. 

2. ” The opening and closing sections of “Bring it on Home” by Led Zeppelin are lifted from a tune by Willie Dixon entitled — not coincidentally — “Bring it on Home.” ” Where do you draw the line between rip-offs and remixers in music?

` You draw the line between rip-offs and remixers in music when the credit is being due. When the remixer gets more famous for something you created.

3. Is art about more than just the creator? How can a remix be used as a form of communication?

` I believe art is more than just the creator, because anybody can create something. Some people think alike. But art depends more on how much quality and hard work was put into it. A remix can be used as a form of communication because sometimes people use remix to battle it out on who’s got the sicker lyrics.
